Mastopexy is a surgical procedure which aims to raise sagging breasts and repositioning the areola and nipple, giving the breast a more pleasant shape.

The areola can also be reduced and repositioned in the same procedure.

After removing the excess, tissues are repositioned giving a new shape to the breast and a new position for the areola and nipple.

The extent and location of the incision may vary depending on the size and shape of the breasts.

Therefore surgery is best suited for:

  • Patients with sagging breasts but with satisfactory volume;
  • Very flaccid breasts;
  • Low areolas and nipples.
